Washington State House District 35, Position 2

On the campaign website: “In my first term, I passed multiple measures to protect our most vulnerable children and people with disabilities.” (Campaign website)

“I’m a lifelong Shelton resident, mother of a special needs child, and caregiver to my veteran grandfather. As a social worker, crisis responder, and healthcare worker, I’ve seen the challenges our community faces.” (WA Secretary of State 2026 General Election Voters' Pamphlet)

“My priorities are simple: make life more affordable, lower healthcare costs, and improve quality of life. That means putting more money back in working families’ pockets, protecting access to healthcare close to home, and investing in the things that make rural communities strong: good schools, safe neighborhoods, reliable infrastructure, and family-wage jobs.” (Campaign website (electmarialittlesun.com))

“As the mother of a special needs child and a two-income household, I know our community cannot continue on with the current cost of living. Seniors are being pushed out of retirement, and people are struggling to pay rent and mortgages.” (Campaign website (electmarialittlesun.com))
