Where Paxton stands

Voting Rights: What voting rights legislation would you support to ensure voters’ ability to participate in our democratic processes?

Every citizen in the U.S. has the right to vote and to know that their vote counts. When a criminal illegal alien commits voter fraud, every citizen’s vote is disenfranchised. That’s why I look forward to working to pass the Save America Act that will require voter ID for federal elections; because it will preserve the faith and trust in our electoral process that every citizen deserves.

Position history

IVF Protection Act (cosponsor commitment)

  1. Jun 2026 (Interview with the Washington Examiner, as reported by the Houston Chronicle)
It's easy to say I'd support a vote, but I would need to read the bill, find out exactly what it does, find out what protections are in there.
  2. Jun 18, 2026 (Campaign told the Texas Tribune he "will cosponsor" the IVF Protection Act)
Every child is a blessing, and every family hoping to welcome a child deserves support and compassion. I am a strong supporter of IVF and pro-family policies that help Americans experience the wonders of parenthood.
