Any AI data center even thinking about coming here — they got to bring their own money, bring their own power, reuse their own water and do it in a way that reduces the cost of electricity for residents across our state. We must eliminate the tax break they are getting.

My Keep Texas Affordable plan slashes property taxes, expands competition to lower electricity bills, rewards safe drivers with lower insurance premiums, freezes tuition at public universities, and lowers housing costs by increasing supply, capping cost of lifesaving drugs, and creating a new affordable health insurance plan.
Texas is growing rapidly, and we must meet increasing demands for water, power, housing, roads, and schools without passing higher costs onto Texans. Our priority is to preserve our communities, make Texas the most affordable state, keep Texas values, create good-paying jobs, ensure our economy remains the strongest in America.
I've signed about 30 laws. Texas has the most comprehensive Second Amendment protections of any state in the country. Every Texan has the right to be able to possess a gun. Period.
