Where Bradshaw stands

If elected, how do you plan to address those challenges?

If elected, I will address these challenges by: Lowering costs and strengthening economic security: Fight for living wages, affordable housing and childcare, stronger labor protections, and tax policies that support working families rather than wealthy special interests. Expanding healthcare access: Work to lower prescription-drug costs, protect Medicare and Medicaid, expand rural healthcare and mental-health services, and ensure every Tennessean can receive affordable, quality care. Investing in opportunity: Advocate for fully funded public schools, workforce development, good-paying clean-energy jobs, modern infrastructure, and protections for Tennessee’s air and water.

What do you think Congress should do about the affordability issues facing constituents?

Congress must lower everyday costs and help wages keep pace by: Expanding affordable housing and preventing corporate price-gouging; Lowering prescription-drug, healthcare, childcare, grocery, and utility costs; Raising wages and protecting workers’ right to organize; Supporting small businesses and creating good-paying jobs; Making the tax system fairer for working families; and Protecting Social Security, Medicare, and essential food assistance. Affordability should mean that every Tennessean can work hard, support a family, and build a secure future.
