What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

As a Michigan Supreme Court Justice and candidate for re-election, I must adhere to the Michigan Code of Judicial Conduct, which limits my ability to comment on matters of public policy, including issues that could come before the courts. Because questions related to certain issues may be subject to judicial review, it would be inappropriate for me to give an opinion. I am committed to upholding the law impartially in every case. I am committed to ensuring Michigan’s courts work effectively for all.
