Where Morgan stands

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I am passionate about strengthening democratic institutions and ensuring elections are fair, secure, accessible, and trusted. Kansas should protect advance voting in person and by mail, with sensible safeguards and clear deadlines. I support considering reforms that give voters more meaningful choices and a stronger voice, including fusion voting, ranked-choice voting, and independent citizen-based redistricting so politicians do not choose their voters. Kansas should examine whether election administration would be better entrusted to a broader bipartisan or nonpartisan panel rather than one partisan elected office. We must do more to encourage people, especially young people, to register and vote.
