Where Weiser stands

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Youth mental health is a top priority of mine and is an issue I am very passionate about. I will champion initiatives that provide mentorship for young Coloradans, address the harms of social media and cell phones, use Colorado’s great outdoors to support youth mental health and resiliency, and increase access to mental healthcare for young people.

Position history

TABOR

  1. May 2025 (Colorado Sun interview; on the voter-approval requirement for tax increases)
On the campaign website: “I hear it everywhere across Colorado--we have a housing affordability challenge.” (Campaign website)
  2. Feb 2026 (KOAA one-on-one interview)
TABOR needs to be changed. TABOR has antiquated formulas that we're now living with, including this hard cap, which limits our state's ability to make critical investments in counterproductive ways.
