I’ll ensure our premiums are invested into making our communities safer through a public Disaster Insurance for All program. And I’ll fight for guaranteed healthcare for every California child.

Consumer Protection & Rate Accountability

The Insurance Commissioner should be working for you to lower prices, not working for the industry to increase profits. That’s why I will never take a dime from insurance companies. California deserves a watchdog for consumers, not a lapdog for corporations, and I’m the only candidate refusing money from corporate PACs. Right now, insurance companies raise our rates, cancel our coverage, and deny our claims while they rake in record profits—using our money.
