Foreign policy

Human rights are not conditional. U.S. tax dollars must not fund Israel’s genocide in Gaza, forced displacement, collective punishment, apartheid, or illegal occupation. I will never vote to send U.S. weapons or military aid to Israel. Real peace begins with justice, accountability, international law, and basic human dignity. I have never taken money from AIPAC, and I never will.

Families & communities

Like so many other working-class women, I’m so proud to be the first person in my family to achieve higher education. Of course, that pride and joy was surpassed by my parents and extended family’s elation, and that will always be one of those times I hold most dear to my heart. It’s a blessing to have such a sense of love, pride, and interconnectedness, not just with my family, but with my greater community; despite the struggles we continue to overcome.
