Democratic nominee, unopposed on Nov. 3, for assistant tax collector in Jefferson County's Bessemer Division. She won the June 16 Democratic runoff over incumbent Ron Marshall, 52.8% to 47.2%. Born and raised on Bessemer's north side, she is city clerk for the city of Brighton and founder of the nonprofit Nurturing Golden Hearts, per The Western Star.
