Incumbent Coosa County Board of Education member for District III. He was born and raised in Coosa County, graduated from Coosa County High School in 1972 and earned a BS in secondary education from Athens State College in 1976. His teams won four state basketball championships, and he was inducted into the AHSAA Hall of Fame in 2011, per the school system's official board page.
