Independents
Not a party; independent candidates are listed together for convenience

I am pretty disillusioned with how the major parties are too often influenced by party politics, lobbyists and vested interests, rather than the people that they are elected to represent.
Reflecting my commitment to open government, I also made my entire mayoral diary public — the first Mayor in Boroondara to do so.
My approach is simple: listen, advocate and deliver — with proof, not just promises.
I have never needed permission from a political party to stand up for my community and I'm not going to start now.
If elected to the crossbench, I pledge to maximise my vote by refusing to pass any government legislation, supply, or budgets until those 10 community-driven priorities are fully funded.
I'm not running to give Nepean another list of promises. I'm running to find out what happened to the promises we've already been given.
I'm Michelle Kennedy, and I'm running for Ivanhoe because this community deserves a representative who listens first, acts decisively, and answers only to you.
I wasn't picked by corporate bosses. I was elected by my peers to stand up for everyday tradies and small business owners.
