My message to renters is, Labor doesn't care about you, if they did, we would have rent controls.
If we had capped rent increases, renters would be living in their own homes by now instead of funnelling more and more of their income every year into their landlord's pockets.
On Council, I've worked hard to deliver tangible outcomes for our community and it would be a privilege to keep fighting for us in State Parliament.
I will always stand up for young people and renters, for families and small businesses, and for our climate and the values that make Prahran such a special place to live.
In Pascoe Vale, families deserve a good life in the suburbs we call home: affordable housing, climate action and well-funded schools, and local green spaces where we can come together as a community.
I believe we can secure affordable housing, protect renters, give first home buyers a better chance of owning a home, and ensure our community remains a place where people from all walks of life can thrive.
I have deep roots in our community and have a history of fighting for the west, engaging in local initiatives and advisory groups focused on active transport, urban ecology, regenerative housing, and climate issues.
I'm running to make the electorate of Preston fairer and greener by ensuring housing is affordable, renters are secure, and our iconic Preston Market remains in public hands.
We need immediate action to reduce overcrowding and prevent deaths in custody, and we need the government to start investing in the things that actually make communities safer.
This is an historic moment for LGBTQIA+ people who have been advocating for the protections to be expanded to protect our community from hate speech for years.
As more people become eligible under these reforms, we'll also need to ensure there are enough trained providers to meet demand, so no one is left without support at the end of life.
Our foster carers are unsung heroes. They volunteer to support and look after vulnerable kids who, for a range of reasons, aren't safe at home.
I'm determined to deliver a just transition that creates secure jobs while ensuring our communities can adapt and flourish.
